Michaela Slutsky, WGF/DS 31

Michaela is currently an Education Consultant at The Jewish Education Project. She recently completed her dual Master’s at NYU Wagner/Skirball, receiving her MPA in non-profit management and MA in Hebrew and Judaic Studies. Previously, Michaela partnered with a fellow Wexner alumni to create RUACH: Emotional and Spiritual Support, an online mental health start-up to support the Jewish community at the beginning of the pandemic. Before that, Michaela was the Program Manager for the Applied Research Collective for American Jewry, a startup initiative from NYU Bronfman Center, developing an academic fellowship and communal Roundtable. Michaela began her career as the Program Director of Teen and Young Adult Services at Marks JCH of Bensonhurst in Brooklyn, NY, where her passion for experiential Jewish education and communal identity began. Michaela served as Camp Director at B'Yachad, a unique educational, overnight camping experience for Russian-speaking Jewish (RSJ) teens focused on Russian Jewish heritage and exploration of personal identity. Michaela is a native New Yorker whose family is originally from the FSU. Michaela holds a B.S. in Business Economics, is a Birthright Fellow, and was a UJA-Federation Graduate Fellow.
